This tour is perfect for guests who want to snorkel at two of Maui's premiere coral reefs, Molokini Crater and Turtle Town. Check-in is 7:30 AM, on the North loading dock, at Maalaea Harbor. Boarding commences at about 7:45 and we get underway at 8:00 AM. Upon boarding, we serve a continental breakfast which includes muffins and croissants, baked daily in our own commercial kitchen. We serve freshly ground Maui Coffee, OJ POG and fresh fruit. lt takes about an hour to reach Molokini. Du ring Whale season, we will whale watch on the way to the crater. Upon arrival, the captain provides a thorough site orientation and snorkeling safety lesson, while the crew set up our guests with floatation and professional snorkeling gear. We will spend an hour to an hour and a half at Molokini. Lifeguards are stationed in the water and positioned onboard for your safety.
After snorkeling at the crater, we will serve burgers, chicken and jumbo hat dogs, hat off the grill. Veggie burgers are also provided for vegetarians, who request in advance. Our second stop at Turtle Town, is an opportunity for guests to swim with Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, which often congregate here. After an hour of snorkeling, we open the bar and serve mai-tais, ice cold micro brewed beers, and white wine. Guests will enjoy homemade white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies and then (in season) more whale watching on the way back to the harbor, with expert narration from our onboard naturalists.
