Embark on an extraordinary Maui sunset sail aboard Akialoa, a 54-foot Gold Coast sailing catamaran. Departing daily from Māʻalaea Harbor, this evening voyage invites you to unwind in comfort and style as the sun sets over the Pacific.
We sail the scenic inter-island channel, framed by views of Maui, Lānaʻi and Kahoʻolawe. Stretch out on the forward trampolines or relax in shaded cabin seating as the motors go off and the trade winds carry you across the water. Sip a handcrafted cocktail, savor locally inspired appetizers, and feel the rhythm of the ocean as the sun sets into the sea.
From December through March, keep an eye out for humpback whales migrating from Alaska. These gentle giants often grace the sunset sails with breaching, tail-slapping and spouting — an unforgettable chance to see them at home.
